Building Energy Audit

A building energy audit is a report on a building’s energy use and performance, it is an analysis of energy flows for energy conservation in a building to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output, an building energy audit reveals how and where energy is wasted, and methods for reducing energy waste and overall energy consumption, indicates how and where that building can reduce energy consumption and save energy costs, it establishes both where and how energy is being used, and the potential for energy savings, as well as measures that can be taken to increase energy efficiency and reduce costs. An energy audit looks at where the energy money are going in a building. The purpose of a building energy audit is to save energy and reduce the utility costs associated with operating a building.
